Evenings at River Camp Mara are intimate and atmospheric. After a day on safari, settle into a three-course dinner under the stars or beside the fire. Weather permitting, guests may also enjoy private candlelit dinners in the bush, set up in total seclusion, with attentive service and the sounds of the wild all around.

Dine in the heart of camp beneath wide skies. Meals are served in the open-air mess area, where our team combines gourmet cooking, warm service, and fresh, seasonal ingredients to make every meal memorable, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

For quieter evenings or special occasions, meals can be served privately under canvas or on your tent veranda. Menus are flexible and tailored to your preferences, whether you crave something light, indulgent, or entirely off-menu.
