Eden Residence

Tucked away in Nairobi’s leafy Langata suburb and bordering the Giraffe Sanctuary Forest, Hemingways Eden Residence is a soulful retreat where creativity and calm meet. Originally built in 1992 by artist and filmmaker Tonio Trzebinski and fashion designer Anna Trzebinski as their family home, the residence has evolved into a boutique hotel and private gallery, now part of the Hemingways Collection.

With just nine individually designed rooms spread across the Main House, Studio Lofts, and a secluded cottage, Eden blends the intimacy of a private home with the thoughtful elegance of a curated stay. At its heart is the Artisanal Gallery, a celebration of contemporary African art, design, and fashion, where guests can browse or participate in creative workshops. Evenings are accompanied by birdsong and the call of bush babies, while days unfold at your pace, with forest walks, curated experiences, and candlelit dining on the veranda.
